  • May 1, 2020 - Mike DeWine begins to lift some restrictions on businesses, meanwhile Dr. Amy Acton renewed a "stay at home" order. Ohio News Release
  • April 28, 2020 - Exploration of a low cost non-smartphone solution is being investigated using a Key Fob styled device that would work with our platform.
  • April 28, 2020 - We are staying on alert should our App be needed by the State of Ohio pending the success of lifting of the restrictions, but we are also aware it is expected to flare up again in the fall. We believe our solution could be actively work on and prepared for when it is needed. The public may not be willing to shut the economy down again come fall if they do not feel it worked well enough the first time. Our App, properly endorsed and utilized has the potential to be the relief we all need.
  • April 27, 2020 - Senator Gavarone learned what we are working on and expressed some excitement. Earlier in March we talked to Toledo Mayor Kapszukiewicz's office as well as Theresa Skelton-Wozniak.
  • April 23, 2020 - Google/Apple renamed Contact-Tracing to Exposure Notification. We have been following the specifications and are able to incorporate this into our solution giving us a dynamic option that can have featured at the ready and enabled or disabled on an as needed basis.   • April 22, 2020 - A private company contacted us expressing interest in potential business use of the platform and also asked if the State would be supporting this.
  • April 17, 2020 - While we are self-funded in our initial stages, we have secured funding for 6-12 months of server infrastructure.
  • April 16, 2020 - We immediately heard from Ohio Development Services Agency and had a productive call today. Options will slowly be evaluated as we see the coming effects of the lifting of restrictions May 1.
  • April 13, 2020 - We sent a follow-up email to the ODH today after not hearing back. We're hoping to re-establish a dialog on how our App can slow the spread and also help re-open the economy.
  • April 10, 2020 - Google releases a proposed idea on how an App developer could track COVID-19 and it look almost identical to what we are doing. Their recommendations would use a new feature called Bluetooth contract-tracing. This would be easy to implement but does not cover all aspects our solution does.
  • April 6, 2020 - The ODH requested information was submitted to ODH on Friday and we are awaiting a response to that information.
  • April 3, 2020 - ODH needed to cancel the call and sent some questions to be answered in the meantime.
  • April 2, 2020 - We successfully made contact with the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) and have a call scheduled for Friday, April 3rd.
  • March 30, 2020 - We held a call with United Way, Greater Toledo Community Foundation, Toledo Chamber of Commerce, and Shumaker, Kendrick, and Loop to discuss what our platform does and the next steps we are taking.
  • March 26-27, 2020 - Conference calls with aforementioned parties began taking place. Initial feedback is overwhelmingly positive.
  • March 25, 2020 - We started sending medical, government, legal and funding organizations details on what we are working on.
  • March 24, 2020 - With initial testing validated, COVID-10 Notify, LLC was incorporated.
  • March 23, 2020 - Initial software proof of concept completed. Began communicating with government representatives, medical, legal, and civic organizations.
  • March 21-22, 2020 - Technical specifications developed and development started.
  • March 21, 2020 - Idea for the App was generated and a team began to be recruited.
